About Us

While students at Georgia Southern University, Payton, a 4th generation farmer, invited me to his family’s home for one of our first dates. Little did I know that peaches picked from the tree could be so delicious! I was instantly a fan of the peaches as well as of the Wainwright family! We were recently married at my family’s farm in Hamilton, Georgia, and immediately jumped into starting our new business: Farm Girl Fresh.

This business began as a way to help my husband’s family sell strawberries when their Strawberry Patch at Taylor Orchards business was a bit slow due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. We started bringing freshly picked strawberries from the Strawberry Patch to Columbus, Georgia, and we were shocked by the demand for these delicious, fresh berries! Peaches were the next obvious choice. Who doesn’t love fresh Georgia peaches? As other produce has become available from local Georgia farmers, we have added those products to our offering.

Our goal at Farm Girl Fresh is to bring the freshest produce to your city while supporting the local farmers of Georgia. We want our customers to know what it is like to eat a true fresh Georgia peach. In addition to pick up locations, we also offer shipping. When peaches are in season, we will ship handpicked peaches throughout the United States (except CA, AR, HI, AK, and WA). We plan to ship pecans this fall as well.
